Bioelectrogenesis group will be attending MFC4, the 4th International Conference on Microbial Fuels Cells, that will take place on 1-4 September in Cairns, Australia. After successful events organised by Pennsylvania State University (USA), Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (Korea) and Wageningen University/WETSUS (The Netherlands) this is also the first meeting in the series to be supported and co-organised by the newly formed International Society for Microbial Electrochemical Technologies (ISMET).
MFC4 will be organised by The University of Queensland and held in the tropical city of Cairns in the far north of Queensland, Australia.
Bioelectrogenesis PI Dr. Abraham Esteve-Núñez will talk about ‘Full scale demonstration of a hybrid MET-constructed wetland for urban wastewater teçreatment: the AQUAELECTRA project”.
Prof. Bruce Logan, Penn State university, Prof. Korneel Rabaey, University of Ghent, and Prof. Lars Pieter Nielsen, Aarhus University, Denmark, are among the confirmed presenters.
