Bioelectrogenesis team member Sara Tejedor has been finalist in the competition along with graphic designer Carlos Martinez in the national poster contest `Chemistry in our life’. In the first round, Tejedor and Martinez won the first prize at the University of Alcalá.
The contest, organized by Spanish Conference of Deans of Chemistry, is part of the International Year of Chemistry. Its goal is to bring Chemistry to society, and to promote their knowledge in areas such as art, health, sports, food and whatever else deemed relevant.
Sara Tejedor has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Complutense University and performed his predoctoral research at IMDEA Water.
