Bioelectrogesis group will join the Madrid events of Researchers' Night for the fourth consecutive year. Hand in hand with IMDEA Agua, the group will offer an activity based on its research and aimed at an audience of 7-100 years. The event will be held next September 27 at the Royal Botanic Garden in Alcalá de Henares.
The experience consists of a demonstration to introduce the public to renewable energy sources based on the metabolic activity of environmental microorganisms.
Researchers' Night is a EU event taking place every year on a single September night in about 300 cities all over Europe thar offers behind-the-scenes guided tours of research labs, interactive science shows and hands-on experiments or workshops. The events are supported by the European Commission as part of the Marie Curie Actions, which is an EU programme to boost European research careers.
